Katzenstein's Meat Market, 1920 - 1929

 File — Box 4
Scope and Contents

All images are of Katzenstein's Meat Market, located on Villiage Street, Hartford, 1920s. Man in the straw hat is probably Benjamin (Borah) Katzenstein, who owned the business along with Moses and Solomon Katzenstein. This was not a kosher business, as the offering of sliced ham in the photo suggests.

Enclosed photo descriptions are for these images as well as others which are presumably filed elsewhere but were donated all at the same time.

Dates: 1920 - 1929
