Farming\Jewish Farmers

Here's one for the files: Gitlin Farm on Chestnut Hill Rd., Colchester --My Mom's family -- this was a farm and kuchelain. All these people were aunts, uncles and first cousins of mine left to right from the front: Milton Gitlin, Arnold Hurwit, Carl Hurwit (Hurwit and Simons and W.H. town council member Murray Gitlin (was a Martha Graham Dancer and production stage Manager for "Boys in the Band", Cloud Nine, Sammy Cahn Story, Blythe Spirit -- all on Broadway and Max Gitlin his Father 3rd row Murray Gitlin -- author, Joyce Gitlin (his daughter), Sara and Sam Gitlin (our grandparents) , Ida Gitlin Davidson on the porch: Bernie Gitlin (owned Bernard Gitlin Sporting Goods in Hartford), Beatrice Gitlin Fine (my Mother)?, Anya Gitlin (Max's wife), Jim and Mary Hurwit (owned Hurwit Hardware), Frances Davidson Jacobs. The two men are Max Cooper, Ben Cooper's Father and his Father Fetta Munya (Morris Cooper)with Mary Hurwit behind.. The women to the left are Tante Bunya (Morris Cooper's sister ). Fetta Munya (Morris) and Tanta Bunya were brother and sister to my Grandmother Sara Cooper Gitlin
