Located at 1) Main and Talcott, 104yr, 2) Park Street, 3) Main St.-Present location. -Glossy copy of same image with text: "The Original Lappens-1892. Corner of Main and Talcott Stretts-Next to G. Fox & Co. One of oldest landmarks in Hartford. Historic old mansion of Hon. Joseph Talcott, govenor of Connecticut, 1724-1741, which was then scene of social and political discussions of the day, stood on south corner of Talcott and Main streets." -Two 4x3 black and white photographs of Harry Lappan Fireside Center, 1892, Corner of Main and Talcott Street (copy of original picture) and corresponding negatives.
