Biographical / Historical
Born in Kabnat, Russia, an area now part of Ukraine. he was born in 1892, and worked in his uncle's Schnapps factory from the age of 9. In 1912 he emigrated to the United States, where he worked for the St. Francis Hospital. Then he became a foreman at a bakery. He was a memeber of the Rumanishe Shul.
