Biographical / Historical
Gabriel Bromberg was born in Hartford in 1909, and grew up in New Britain. He attended New Britain High School and played on the football team, which became state champions. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in business. He served in the military in World War II and then worked for the Sanitary Laundry Co.
