Biographical / Historical
Gloria Bein was born in 1925, lived in Brooklyn and moved to Willimantic before World War II. She served as a nurse in World War II. She tudied the Torah and chanted the Haftorah more than 200 times. She moved to West Hartford in 1974 and joined the Congregation Tikvoh Chadoshoh in Bllomfield. She interviewed many Jewish people in the Hartford area.
